ZDS works directly with our clients to help develop a document called the Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR). These are the initial building blocks to setup for the basis of design for a given project.
ZDS can provide full support on getting LEED accreditation for your facility. With experience on many LEED facilities from bronze to platinum certified we can help you achieve your goals.
With our design professionals who also serve as commissioning agents you will recieve highly experienced staff ready to provide valuable feedback throughout the design process and into construction.
We employ a hands on approach in making sure your Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing systems are operating at peak conditions. Equipment is run through dynamic operations to make sure it performs as designed.
Once a facility is occupied we work with contractors and our clients to test a facilitate any changes needed for system optimization.
Retro-commissioning is the same systematic process applied to existing buildings that have never been commissioned to ensure that their systems can be operated and maintained according to the owner’s needs.
ZDS works with our client’s staff to make sure they understand the systems that they will be operating. We also develop a Project Manual that captures the valuable knowledge and information gained through the entire process. We understand that buildings that are not maintained and operated as intended cost more and equipment tends to have shorter life. By starting things off correctly you will reap long term benefits that often pay for themselves.
